Joel's Lighthouse
This is how I made my clay lighthouse. First I got a toilet paper tube and rolled it up with clay. Then I cut out a large circle of clay and stuck it on the bottom of the cylinder. Then I cut out another large circle of clay for the balcony and stuck it on the top of the cylinder.
When I finished my clay lighthouse the teacher took it to the next room so it could be heated up and on Tuesday it was sent to me and it was really hard.
Today I brought it to school to show to my class. After I showed my class my lighthouse I had to go to gate maths.

Joel you did such a great job of making these. I like your recount of how you went about it. Look forward to reading more of your writing.
